I’ve been thinking about what to tell you about why you should come to the Journaling to the Deep weekend retreat this October 13th to 15th at La Solitude de Pré-d’en-Haut, in New Brunswick.
I’m supposed to tell you that you are broken and that I can fix you.
BULLOCKS! YOU ARE NOT BROKEN — YOU ARE MAGNIFICENT!
Yes, you’ve been through some shit in your life… you’ve been hurt, your tender heart has been abused, you’ve struggled, you don’t believe you’re worthy, you may think you’re too old to change, you feel like you’re not ‘ready’, but some day...
My darling soul — you are ready. You were born ready to emerge as a Wild Woman.
I’ve been learning lately that I am an incredibly powerful manifester. All this week Spirit has been stripping away all the things I hide behind — because my soul wants to soar and fly instead of turning back and withering.
I am made to be a shining beacon for women like you who’ve lost contact with their Wild Woman.
There is a Wild Woman inside each of us — she’s that part of us that cannot be tamed. We feel our misery so that we break free and become what we are put on this earth to be — the divine woman, a goddess, perfectly imperfect, vulnerable, open, loving, and in sync with the rhythms of nature.
If you're reading this, your wild woman is calling to you. It's time to wake up.
I spent most of my 56 years of life dipping my toe into the wild, then pulling it out; going up to my ankles, my knees, my thighs — each time I became scared of my incredible power and I pulled myself out.
But not anymore. I was born to help you to find your own light. I see it shining so brilliantly, it almost hurts my eyes to see the awesomeness of who you are. I see the light and the beautiful soul of the Wild Woman that you are. I see the truth of your soul. Your divinity. Your sacredness. I see the brilliance that you cannot fully see in yourself.
Journaling is my medicine. Yes, I want you to know your joy, but your pain is every bit as important. Your darkness is sacred. Your vulnerability is precious. Your heart is nestled tenderly to my bosom so that you can look at your darkness through my eyes. I am the mother I wish I had when I was a child. When I look at you, I see beauty, healing, authenticity — I see you as a Wild Woman — I see miracles, magic, and gentle grace.
I see the wounding. I acknowledge it. I honour it. But I also know that your wounding does not define you. It makes you the beautiful tender, compassionate soul that you are. I will celebrate you until you can see your radiant beauty.
I don't fix you — you fix yourself — by realizing that you were never broken in the first place.
